Hi, I’m Anaja Arthur, the creator of Barre Beatz. Dance has been a significant part of my life since childhood, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching others as a dance instructor specializing in ballet, strength, and technique. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for Pilates, yoga, and barre workouts because of the incredible health benefits they’ve provided me.

I created Barre Beatz to bring together like-minded women on their own health and wellness journeys. My classes are tempo-based, fueled by energetic music, and designed to challenge you while keeping things fun and engaging. Whether you’re a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just starting out, my goal is to create an inclusive space where you can feel empowered, inspired, and supported every step of the way.​
What is Barre Beatz?
Barre workouts are an amazing way to improve balance, flexibility, and strength while also building endurance and burning calories. Beyond the physical benefits, they’re a fantastic way to reduce stress and enhance posture—helping you feel stronger and more confident in your everyday life.​
This class utilizes body weight and some use of 2lb. hand weights to aid in muscle toning, as well as yoga balls and bands for tension. All exercises are low impact and gentle on the joints to reduce inflammation in the body.

Classes are currently being offered weekly on Thursdays at 7pm and Saturdays at 10am.
